Ballroom Dance
I started doing ballroom dance during university after discovering at UAB Ballroom Dance Society. I have been a member for three years. I also taught a beginner's ballroom dance class at the Levite Jewish Community Center in Birmingham, AL in 2022.
3D Printing/ Modeling
I started 3D printing in high school. There I learned the basics of how it worked and how to prepare a pre-made print and where to start 3D modeling. In university, I became a Student Assistant at UAB's Emerging Technologies Lab, where I really started experimenting with modeling. I have worked with them since 2021.
Cosplay/ Ren Faires
As soon as I moved to Birmingham for university, I started going to conventions and rennaisance faires. Growing up in a small town, there weren't many around, so I jumped at the chance to go. I have always wanted to cosplay, so I have a few smaller cosplay put together, though I am still relatively new to it.
Robotics
In high school, I was on my school's robotics team. In university, I work as a Student Assistant at UAB's Emerging Technologies Labs. I also work at Dave and Buster's as a Game Technician.
Music
I have always loved music. My mom used to say when I was little the only thing that could calm me down was humming. Before I discorvered theatre, I wanted to be a singer. I listen to most kinds of music, but I'm very selective within the genres I like. I played alto saxophone in my high school jazz and concert bands. I also know how to play the 12-hole ocarina.
Gaming
I grew up in a household of gamers. Being the youngest with two olders brothers meant that I got all of the games that they were done playing. I now play many of my own games and have developed my own taste in them, but I still sometimes take the games they get tired of!
Swimming
I love the water. I was on a competitive swim team as a child. I grew up around the Coosa river and spent every second that I could swimming in it. When I finally got adult money, I bought a mermaid tail from FinFun.
Tabletop Gaming
I started playing tabletop games in middle school with my older brothers and their friends. We started with Pathfinder, then shifted over to Dungeons and Dragons and Call of Cthulhu. I have playedsome other systems, like a home-made Elder Scrolls based game, but we mostly stuck to those main two systems. I also play Magic: The Gathering.
Tattoos/ Piercings
I have 7 tattoos in total right now. I have 2 bats, a spider, some fangs, a moon with bats, a dragon, and a pink platform boot to pay homage to Monster High, my favorite thing when I was little. I have 5 peircings, though all but one are on my ears. I have a medusa piercing, which is a stud right above your cupid's bow on your lip.
Hair Dye
I always have fun hair. I have been through the entire rainbow at this point. The only colors I haven't done are black and white. My favorites have definitely been lime green/ dark purple, hot pink, and neon yellow.
